Scholarship
“Next to cultivation of the friendly feelings, the advancement of science and literature is the mainspring of our exertions.”
- John Reily Knox, of ever honored memory
As Betas, we actively seek to improve our intellectual capabilities. Our drive for academic excellence extends far beyond the typical college endeavor. We have established several initiatives to further our academic pursuits.

Goal Setting: At the beginning of each semester we each set personal academic goals by which we can gauge our performance throughout the year.
Academic Counseling: Several counseling sessions are held each semester in order to direct members to resources and monitor progress towards reaching academic goals. This advising is particularly intensive for pledges, as first year students often need the most guidance and assistance.
With a great diversity of majors, our fraternity offers an unparalleled opportunity to study with and learn from other members of the same academic orientation. Academics are our top priority, and we strive to rank in the top three fraternities every semester. We have never fallen below the All-Men’s, All-University, or All-Fraternity Grade Point Averages. We also give a scholarship to all members who achieve a 3.5 GPA for the fall semesters.
We understand people come to Kansas State University to learn, and our chapter will work to its fullest to ensure the academic development of every member.
